Our MJR theme for this fortnight coincided with our annual Catholic Education Week task of performing Random Acts of Kindness. Every year each class is asked to nominate and participate in a RAoK. We had many different ideas and activities happening this year.
Prep made cards for the parishioners – which were handed out at Mass on Sunday.
Year One made a special badge with messages of positivity for the staff.
Year Two wrote letters with messages of hope and positivity and placed them in letterboxes along Rainbow Street.
Year Three wrote letters to the elderly at Wahroonga.
Year Four wrote letters to students from a school in Melbourne who are in lockdown.
Year Four/Five wrote letters to essential workers of Biloela.
Year Five passed on positive messages in cards to teachers, parents and support staff.
Year Six conducted RAoK amongst students and teachers within their classroom.
